Climb Team Reaches Mt. Kilimanjaro Summit to Support U.S. Veterans
Ciardi Ciardi & Astin (CC&A), IBLC’s Wilmington member & sponsor of the Military Assistance Project (MAP), congratulates the 2014 MAP Climb Team for reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Led by CC&A partner Albert Ciardi III, the team raised money and awareness for a great cause. The Military Assistance Project is a pro-bono legal service for active duty, reserve and veterans of the U.S. military providing financial advice and bankruptcy services.
Albert Ciardi III, MAP founder & Board Chairman, saw the climb as an opportunity to raise awareness for MAP’s mission and the growing necessity to making resources available for U.S. Veterans & military personnel in need of bankruptcy assistance and a fresh start. Support for Veterans’ affairs comes naturally for the Ciardi firm as two of its partners are veterans. “Danny” Astin served as a Judge Advocate on “America’s Flagship” the USS Constellation (CV64) and “Jack” Mclaughlin served in Tong du chon-ni, Korea, as division staff.
